ask this guy if he would share his residence phone number and cell number ... 
sounds like he would be a good contact point for us hams, (perhaps he is a 
ham) and mention to him the fact that there are those of us who used to work in 
broadcasting, and failed to ask for the names and phone numbers of the retired 
military TTY mechanics, who then made spare income as AP or UPI TTY mechanics.
 
sure wish I had asked and kept contact info for the 8 or 10 guys I met during 
my years in broadcasting...  I would now have access to a list of retired TTY 
mechanics who might be available to still make a QTH service call to replace 
main shaft felts etc.
