Thanks for the updates.
NOTE that the colors with numbers after them indicate Bell System
Standard Colors.
The C colors are not colors but two types of wood-graining done by
specialists at Western Electric.
The black and brown colors were the first to be discontinued by Ma Bell.

This chart is mostly from 1967 - though "Red, Cherry" and "Green, Eye
Rest" colors are not on that chart- as well as Walnut and Mahogany.
Observations:
Looking at the codes - I wonder if colors starting with "C" meant
custom (i.e. per request from a customer - rather than a "stock" color)?
Second thing I note - is that so far we see 11 different shades of
"official" gray. No wonder it's hard to "pin down" the correct shade
of gray to paint equipment... Almost looks like just about any shade
of gray would be pretty close to at least one of the "official" grays!
With 11 "grays" in many of the possible finishes (wrinkle, smooth,
vinyl, etc.) - that's some 21 variations of "official tty gray".
Anyway - I'll add these two new ones to "the list"... Thanks Jim!
best regards...
