Broadcast - MaBell men:

I'm trying to learn more about these WECO patch plug/jack variations; these are ring/tip/sleeve type, I think.

75 ohm - 358A
124 ohm - 372A
135 ohm - 241A
600 ohm - 310 (dual plug version is 338A)

How are the cord dimensions figured/determined; what are the jack & plug dimensions and what were they used for. I was always told that 600 ohm was telephone line. I assume this is what teletype patching uses.

Does anyone have any Western Electric engineering data with drawings & math which might explain them?

I tried going through ADC but cannot penetrate their army of sales staffers.

TIA,

John W5JV
