I visited Compass in Paterson, NJ years ago in a stone cold December. Came home with nothing due to the factor you mention. But the was at least one guy who knew the place well and got a lot of gear out of there before The End. The rest, I seem to remember, was loaded into 40ft containers. I forget where it was headed. Compass made Land Air look like a piker!
