Jeff,
   Thanks for the tip. I was worried when you said you had "sacrificed" two CL50's trying to get an HV loop keying to work, since I only ordered one, and was hoping not to turn it into a burnt offering.  I had wondered if the CL50 would key a relay to drive an external supply. One step closer.

It lives!

For the first time since I acquired the Lorenz LO-15 it is printing in
black. (Receive, no locally generated copy)

I am driving the Black Box CL-50 with Win98 PC running TTYSYM.
It's currently slogging through the Collins TCS-15 brag tape in the
background as I type.

In the words of Molly McGee, "Oh happy days Fibber!"

The next little step here is to locate those optical isolators I have
and include the transmit loop as well.

Yippy! This makes the first time in over 20 years since I've been 
blessed witht he sound of a Teletype machine running in the shop.
