Hi...

I have two quick and unrelated questions.

The first, is in regards to an ASR-28, specifically the tape perforator. It seems that there is a tiny bit of paper tape stuck under the last part of the tape pathway, where the punches make the holes. The tape will self thread through the perforator, but when it gets to the actual punch, it bunches up and will not go through. How should I clear that tape? I do not want to do anything to screw up the punchs or the pathway.

The second is about telephones... Was there a specific ring cadence generator that would take the ring signal and generate the cadence? I just found a Wescom ring current generator ($25.00), but it simply makes a 30 Hz output (4 watt). Was there some sort of unit that would take that current and generate the cadence? Preferably something that could be mounted on the same rail as the Wescom unit?
