[GreenKeys] jackfields

It appears a jackfield can be a mixed bag subject i.e., at WOR in NYC, our
newsroom had old looking wood boxes in the tty room....they had rows of
jacks that were connected to the various model 15's. The patch cords were
tip sleeve. The box was WOOD and there cords were only about 8 inches
long...too short to go anywhere like a metal grounded object.

The Navy boxes I'm wiring are all TRS and the S is floating....I think
that's great because there's NO chance of the loop going to ground.
Certainly that must reduce the possibility of damage to your keying
equipment. So Eugene, there you have my extensive (yet rather extremely
limited :>) input.
