They were willing once in 2000 to make up tape for us but we needed to
make a large minimum order ... and of course there is the shipping
problem.

Don

P.S.
I have used this loophole over the years and have done so again
recently.

The rolls of paper and paper tape consist of nothing but paper.
According to the strict interpretation of current and past postal
regulations...
You can ship a heavy case of paper via MEDIA MAIL if, in the middle, you
put two books that have no advertising in them. They have to be bound
books. I just received a case of 12 rolls of TTY paper from the west
coast
in this manner. Of course the outside of the box must be labeled BOOKS.

They still exist:

http://www.maxwellpaper.com

and I've sent them an email asking if they still do teletype paper tape.
I'll let everyone know if and when they respond.

Thanks for the tip!
