I would think that perhaps there is a surplus of KS7470 that might be 
available for a very reasonable sum.

The government usually bought enough for a couple of centuries of 
service, and it is quite possible that it is now in cans rusting away 
in some forgotton warehouse in New Jersey or some such place.

Might I suggest asking the fellow who is currently away where the 
last shipment was sent, and do they have any that has been sitting 
around looking for a new home??

I am pleased to see that no one is pursuing the KS7471 grease. That 
stuff is a disaster. All of the cans of KS7471 I have ever looked 
into gave the impression of Edwards Dry Lake - all cracked and dry, 
like adobe in the summer. It hardens over time and becomes almost 
indestructible.
