Right-- but it also probably refers to components in the machine by the
names that many of us new to the old technology have never heard before.
What is the such-an-such clutch or bail or pawl and when you can see a
person move from one point to another in an actual machine, I think those
things become much more obvious than they do looking at a 2D drawing or
still image.
My experience with the old manuals (or worse, copies of them) is that
images are very poor too and difficult to really make out where the
various locations really are in the real machine.
So, my thought was that a well done video (I'm talking something with
proper lighting and resolution) would be a real nice way to carry these
skills forward that many of you guys still have.
