from the front panel. But even that is a bummer if you are trying to
listen to a QSO and one station is using 170 and the other is
using 200. But, yeah, you could use a discriminator and an input
bandwidth wide enough to accomodate 200 Hz shift and then you'd get
good copy with 170 also.
