Joe,
Horizontal output coils are not hard to find. They seem to show up in
boxes of small transformers scavenged by folks who took radios and TVs
apart. The adjustable ones may well be, though. I never saw an
adjustable one, but I was never a TV repair guy.
If all my "stuff" was unloaded from storage, I'd go digging for
horizontal output coils, but alas I can't unearth that stuff any time
soon. In the meantime, it's quiet possible you could take a normal
fixed unit apart and arrange some sort of adjustment to change the gap
between the E and I parts of the core.
