In the late 1970's I had a couple of WU 2B printers and loop power  supply. 
 Took em to work at a mountaintop TV transmitter location to try  them out 
on the bench.  Upon turning them on, noticed I was airing  some nice hash in 
the video.  Checked with another site that used our  signal and it was not 
just local monitoring.  Last time for that.  It  was the motors, of course.  
Luckily no repercussions job wise.
