For RTTY, I recommend the use of a DOVETRON MPC-1000R (Provides Signal
Regeneration, Speed Conversion and Digital Autostart together with a
triple Tone-Pair AFSK Tone Keyer), as I am doing well with my T100s and
other mecanical teleprinters.

With a special (old 6802 based) microcontroller board you are able to
work in "Telex Over Radio" (Hams call it AMTOR), a sea radio service
(SITOR) from the early '70, ported to Amateur-Radio by G3PLX in the late
'70. And you are able to enter the "TelexPhone Project" wich make it
possible to send/receive TELEX to/from other TelexPhones using phone
lines, see www.teleprinter.net.
Have a lot of fun
