I wouldn't loan/rent anything to a movie crew even if I co-stared in the 
movie!  Once was enuf.  Loaned a Bell System control head for a GE VHF 
mobile telephone, MTS of the '60's version.

It came back, after trying to locate them, with holes in the back where they 
put wood screws into it instead of using the mounting brackets.  Once the 
movie shoot was over, they disappeared.

There is no reason ever, in my opinion, to ever let your equipment out of 
your hands.  They pay you to come along...and pay well, ok.

I won't tell you what I really think 'cause cussing ain't good  here    LOL
