Howdy Folks,

Tom located the problem.  A spring is missing on the machine and he replicated my problem exactly.  Thanks to all for the help with this problem.  Now to find that missing spring  LOL  See below msg. from Tom.

Looking at your picture, I notice that there is no spring on the transfer bail.
wether this is a design modification, or the spring is missing, you will have to check if there are spring mounting holes or hooks.
I hope this is it..      ;-))

I think we got it! I just took the spring off my KSR and it prints crap. Gently push the lever left, and it prints OK.
