Lar,

Hooray for you.  Do not despair on the lack of RTTY signals, or the  
treatment you may have gotten from the glass-equipped fellow.  You can  
count on at least me to get my stuff going here, although I have to  
wait till the winter lifts.  Someone said on the air recently:   
"Global Warming?  C'mon, I'm ready!"  He was in Florida, I think,  
suffering seriously with temperatures below 55F.

By the way, I have two boxes of tty graphics tapes here, and will be  
running up towards legal limit power when I do get set up.  Do you  
have plenty of paper to copy such things as Snoopy and Miss December  
1961?

Yup. It helps in times of discouragement to remind ourselves of the  
priorities.  I'd way rather do an alignment on a 75A-4 than talk for  
10 seconds each to folks in far off countries in a contest.

Yup.. Carry on!  I have a Model 14 typing reperforator apart on the  
bench.  (Trouble is the temperature at the bench has been about 10  
degrees below freezing now for some weeks!)
