My 32ASR has auto CR/LF in it. There is a Teletype mod kit for the
feature
for 32's and 33's. I believe the mod kit is shown in the parts
manuals.

John,

Would that all computer programs include CR LF in their setup for us
Teletype users. I was real busy with my manual paper feed knob on my
32 when I
made a few contacts couple weekends ago.

By the way, does anyone know whether a 32 can have auto LF and CR? I
have
worked on many 33's with this option, but never run across a 32 with
one.
I know lots of 28's have LF on CR installed and many more options
like
unshift on space etc. which makes them better for RTTY use.

I do have one helpful hint for 32 users. Disable your Figs D
function so
you wont get 20 characters of garble if while receiving some garble
in Figs
you receive a D. You need only remove the vertical function pawl or
even
slip it out of its slot by pushing it rearward and to the left or
right.
Its the next to the last pawl on the far right in the 32 stunt box.

Hope to see you on mid day from Vermont. Only 30 watts and a dipole
at 55
ft aimed in your direction, but think it might work well some days.

Gentlemen of RTTY. I am now using Hal's DXP38 which is a sweet little

box. I'm using it to FSK my 7700 and it works very well. In fact,
unlike
the soundcard glass programs the DXP38 has End of Line (EOL) of CR,
LF,
and Ltrs so it will talk to your model 28s and 15s.
So I would love to work any or all of you. I'm just outside of
Atlanta
so I can cover all the US with my old Mosley Tri-Bander running 800
watts. So please look for me around 14.090 most days including
weekends
around midday EST through the afternoon.
I must warn you, though - I am a rag chewer so if you only want an
RST,
QTH, name and SK you'll find hundreds of others who will swap radio
memories with you. If you contact me I am going to ask you questions
and
am ready to answer yours. I'll be listening for you.

p.s. Although I'll be working you with a computer and box, I will be
printing your replies on my model 28RO, just for the record.
