Hi All:

The vendor of the AN/UGC - 504's, Gary Hamilton, of Scotia
Surplus in the Halifax/Dartmouth area at 1 (902) 456-4919
called me yesterday morning. He had the opportunity to
purchase a large number of these units without print heads,
and wondered whether it was worth while.

Now, I have suggested to him that unless someone was in the
Maritimes that it wouldn't be worth the cost of shipping
for parts units, but that his best option would be to sell
the individual parts, boards, power suppies, etc.

So, if you have a AN/UGC-504, or a AN/UGC-136 needing
parts, boards, etc. other than print head, give him a call
and see what he can do for you....

I for one have spoken for a full set of logic boards and a
spare power suplly once he gets them in...

There is another update to report thanks to Jack Rubin. A
while back several suggested we contact William Perry (502)
893-8724 in Kentucky to try to locate mating plugs for
these units. Jack took on the job as he lives closer, and
yesterday he received a sample from William. It fits
perfectly. I have ordered two, and with the work I did
doping out the connections, power cords are no longer a
problem. The part number is (Amphenol type) MS3116F145SW.

I mention this chiefly so that people will know that
William is a great source of Amphenol type connectors for
surplus gear, and that if you can give him the number of
the chassis portion, he can match it up to the proper jack.
