Just giving ya' a hard time .. memories from the past !!

One way I found out (again years ago) was to scatter discretely a simple
business card in the pile.

After the sale is over, call a half dozen scrappers nearby. They all know
each other, very very tight community. Put out a reward on Craigslist.

Retired ? Park outside the gate during pick up times.

On that calling a few scappers. Call now find out, tell them why what
you would be willing to pay for say a dozen TTY's. May get someone to
bid who wouldn't normally.

At least where I now live, there are no DOD installations other the
Ft. Lewis 150 miles to the North. And they almost never get anything that
'high tech' :-)
