Paul,
I was just pulling your chain a little about the screws. I will ship them out today or tomorrow USPS Priority. I have enough of your $, so not to worry about that. I have a nice photo collection of your machines in a folder if anyone wants to see em with your permission.
I believe I would run coax in the house so you wouldnt get RF into all other electronics. Ladder line radiates, I believe. I dont have any myself.
It would be nice to have a visit sometime. I hope to get to Denver to visit with relatives one of these days and would ring you up while there and ahead of time of course.
If you really want some maple syrup, let me know off-list and I will get you some.

Hi Wayne!!
It is great to hear from you. These screws are for the IBM 5028, now that I have a stand for it (the stand that I got form Larry sat at my mother's house all this time and now is finally with me in Colorado). So yes, it is for one of the machines I got from you :-)
Well, I don't have a QSO in Vermont either. I am making a new antenna in the attic space above my garage right now and am a bit hung up on what cable to run to it (somebody suggested I try open wire since it is all internal in my house, but I am not sure what "open wire" is. I plan to reach out to some local hams to get this set up. In the meanwhile, I am off the air :-(
Why didn't I ask you directly? I don't know. I guess have no excuse for that!
How are you? Are you still in your house? Last time we talked, you were thinking of moving. Gee, it has been a while - maybe next time I am on the east coast I can stop by to say hello. (And maybe pick up some maple syrup!).
Here's my address:
Paul Heller
8248 Newland Court
Arvada, CO 80003
Thanks, Wayne.

Paul,
I have 4 of them and also the washers that I can part with. They are slightly special (I hate to disagree with Jack, LOL) and the length is critical. They go into plastic nuts that are held captive in the base of the pan, so be sure and start them carefully and dont overtiten.
I should have your address, but help me out and I wonder why you didnt ask me direct, since you have 3 or 4 machines that I either worked on for you or sold you.
I still dont have a QSO in Colorado, so if you're on the air, lets try for one sometime.

I have a teletype and a base, but don't have the screws to mount it. I took the
crew out of one of my other teletypes and headed out to the local hardware
tores but cannot find a replacement anywhere locally. I need four screws.
Does anyone have some of these that they could part with?
Thanks,
Paul
