Note that this is a non-preserving operation. By that, I mean that
the item that is "restored" is chemically altered, similar to the way
that antique guns or furniture is "restored" by cleaning off all the
patina.
Of course, longer-term its not even clear that the plastic/rubber
elements of computer equipment will survive at all.
