I'm not having much luck hearing WLO (8473.0 KHz) here in MN yet though.
Have been listening off and on since the notice came out but so far only
hiss.
Are there any other stations in MN, WI, ND or SD perhaps that can copy it?
If so, what sort of antenna are you using?
Equipment checks out for receiving (and transmitting) on other frequencies
so I think the station here is working.
There's a WX broadcast at 8502.0 which I receive S7 to S9 here.
Rig is Icom IC-746PRO with remotely tuned 150' horz loop at 35'.
Is WLO really up 24x7 or is it up and down still and I might just be looking
at the wrong times?
