Microsoft will support their very popular XP Operating System through
December of 2013.
This is a years extension from their previous announcement.

Projections show most on-line use will continue to move to very smart
phones and tablets.
Many have already made this change.

Most PC's will be used for large projects such as publishing, editing
video's, storing personal data... taxes, spreadsheets, etc.
The NEXT GEN TV's... APPLE TV, SONY, etc will look more like smart
tablets filled with a very large supply of applications.
Broadcast TV stations will have to adapt or fall the way of print
media .

Here's a list of MS Hot-fixes that could solve particular problems
that are not covered in the normal updates for Windows XP SP 3:

Note: These are not scheduled to be included with a service pack.
Note: The last Windows XP SP3 hot-fix was from January 2011.
Note: You should check http://support.microsoft.com for the latest
versions of your XP software programs.
