[GreenKeys] OT: Microsoft to support Windows XP for an additional year...

And last night I sat staring at my copy of Windows ME, wondering just why I was bothering to keep the wretched thing. After some time I realized that it was only because of my habit to never throw anything away and did a six foot toss into the wastebasket.

PS This afternoon I expect a visitor to the radio shack and I have checked to make sure that the 28KSR is "local loop operational." The kid is probably in his early 30's but I doubt that he has ever seen a teletype machine of any model. Sad.

I do have one computer running Vista. And my wife's computer does run 7---at her request because she runs in circles that "have the latest". But the other four in the radio shack (each connected to a different radio and three running software defined rigs and the two in front of me in the home office) use XP. I agree, why change something that works?
