Hello everyone;
Browsing eBay I found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Teletype-Panel-88TT-TTY-Facsimile-Modem-/400189119202?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d2d215ae2
I thought it interesting, and - although I can't afford it, nor do I
need/want it - it might be of interest
to other readers here.
I find it most interesting because it appears as though it is designed
to replace the right-hand cover
panel of a Model 33 or Model 32. Quite ingenious if you ask me.
Does any one know if there were other such modems for various teletype
machines? Also, what
Bell modem spec would that modem be running on? Bell 103 or Bell 101?
(I know it can't be a
Bell 2xx spec modem; as there's absolutely no way any one would put a
1200 bps or 2400 bps
modem into a teletype (it's a waste of modem resources).)
Right, well; cheers to everyone.
