Bill Henry, President of HAL Communicatiions, has made it a point to 
continue to offer parts and manuals to all HAL products owners, even though 
the units are long out of production.

He is a fellow ham, and continues to support us hams better than most any 
other manufacturer of amateur gear.

I have a large selection of HAL Manuals and have never presented any HAL 
Manuals on WWW.RTTY.COM, out of respect for Bill's continued dedicated 
support of his products.

We have had this issue come up previously on GreenKeys, and inasmuch as Bill 
is taking a vacation right now I will speak up in his behalf and request 
that others continue to observe his right to make a living by backing up his 
equipment with good tech support.

The HAL fee for any manual is twenty dollars. Perhaps not cheap, but better 
than the expenses defense of a copyright infringement action could incur.
