[GreenKeys] Bad Wiring in Teletype motor

The motor that drives the Answer-Back and TD on my Model 35 failed due 
    to rotted rubber covering on the power leads.
    I opened the motor and removed the wires up to their connecting point to the stator windings.  
What kind of tape is
    used to insulate / secure the soldered connections of the new wiring to =
    the windings?  I'm sure the standard black
    plastic tape won't survive the heat.  Any suggestions appreciated.
