Yes.  My trip made before the Interstate system got to the Gulf Coast was 
about 850 miles.  The same problem exists with a lot of military radio gear.  
Some of it is heavier than a 28ASR and it almost always happens that if the 
rig is here (South Texas), the first three interested parties will be on 
the East Coast or CA.
