Jumping to conclusions,  I'm afraid, Eugene.

I emailed Fons to ask if the sale was of some of  his items. He replied 
enigmatically

"Well Sam, for many reasons I  have sold, say over the last 5 years, some
items and am decided to continue  that way.
"Note that I intend to keep enough pieces in order to still have  a decent
collection.
