GreenKeyers,

I uploaded a video of one of my Kleinschmidt machines copying ITTY news
yesterday. This is one of the two TT-483s that were uncrated during my
summer TTY trip around the country. Specifically the two machines were
thought to be M28 KSRs that had been in crates at the owner's warehouse
since the early 90s. The owner said there was quite a bit of interest in
them from the group, but when he finally uncrated them and found they were
Kleinschmidt machines the interest died completely away except for me. Man
did I hit the jackpot! Thank all of you that left them for the taking.

Except for a new ribbon and a roll of paper, the only thing done since this
machine was removed from the crate was to have the power supply removed that
supplies loop current if needed. The silicon bridge rectifier started
letting the smoke out within just a minute or two of power being supplied.
I'm using a REC 10 power supply that I just rebuilt, thanks to parts from
Dr. House, to drive the loop and one of Eric's demod boards to copy the ITTY
feed.

This machine and its brother had tags on them that indicated that they had
been removed from service in March of 1985 and I guess were crated shortly
thereafter.

Enjoy and 73,
