Depending upon how sophisticated one wants to get with this, one idea would 
be to 3D scan an original https://www.nextengine.com/,
then in CAD make a reverse image mold from that. If you are going to do 
thermoset (e.g. injection molded) urethane, then a real mold is a prerequisite.

As in interim step just send it to a 3D "printer" to prototype and verify fit.

Then send the .dxf file to a CNC or EDM machine.

Viole!

Not nearly as difficult or expensive as it was just a few years ago.

Because these have gotten so inexpensive high schools & community colleges 
have bought them for their shops, so they are pretty available.

Also, just google makerbot for a real eye-opener as to the state of the 
tinkerer's art.

That would be the fun way to do it, but I suspect that an old ice cube tray 
and some molding silicone would suffice.
