Again, I have to apologize for being slow with the updates.  The only excuse
I have is just that I'm really tired when I get home and when I get up in
the morning, I'm really tired. (whine)! 

Jerry is doing better overall, his cognitive skills are amazing.  I took his
laptop for a session with the speech therapist and he navigated to his email
without much difficulty, but since then, he hasn't wanted to even look at
the computer.  His voice is getting stronger and most of the time, the delay
in response is almost nil.  But then on Friday he didn't say one word to
anyone all day.  So  the good days are getting more frequent, but there are
still bad ones.

The physical activities are the biggest challenge for us, his arms are
gaining strength every day but he can barely move his legs.  He still is not
able to sit or stand on his own.  I can see the small improvements, but if
you aren't there every day, you might miss them.  Again, baby steps.

I know this is a long road we are on, but I know he is coming back.

We thank all of you who have visited, it really means alot to him (even if
he does fall asleep during your visit!)  This weekend was amazing with all
the company.    Thanks too for the cards. Cindy, he was so pleased to hear
from you.  I keep taking the cards down and reading them to him again and he
still reacts like it is the first time.  I look forward to the day that he
tells me I need to get some new reading material.
