Some of the Dovetrons have built in rate and code converters.
Dovetron also made a box specifically for speed and rate conversions.
Others have had good luck with Flesher products... I have not. I
guess it depends on how well the kit was built.

Good luck to all...

    I went down to the shack, and sure enough, I still have my Flesher
TR-128 Baud Rate converter.  (I originally had 100 WPM gears in my 28;
then I bought & built this. Yes, it was a Flesher kit).

    Hmmmm....interested?

I acquired a model 28 several years ago (10) and am now just getting
around to playing with it. I have a Hal ST6 and have been sending tty
to it and the ASR via MMTTY trying to figure things out, never could
get a print. So it dawned on me the ASR might not be geared up for
45.45 baud so I changed speed in MMTTY to 75 baud now the machine
prints correctly. So you can see where this is going how do we get
this machine down to 45 baud, new gears? Variable frequency motor
supply? What would be the easiest?
