one thing about AUTOVON at Luke - taking a nice large box of good
candy to the com center for the switchboard operators always helped
with name recognition when you requested a line too! Not of the
facilities I were in had direct access.... had to go though switchboard!

I did not get use of AUTOVON until I was at Luke ...

heh wish I had... at Keesler! No one told us... were you in
operations or maint. type of school?

When I was at tech school at Keesler they turned us on to how to use
Autovon
real quick. Never paid for a call home.
