Thanks for the trip down memory lane.  I learned some stuff I didnt know when I served in USAF, 8th AF, 70th Bomb Wing in OK.  Was in a command post servicing Crypto and visited some others.  Also later worked for Western Union who had the contract on the Bomb Alert System which was mentioned.  Bad duty to visit the remote sites as they were all way out in the boonies and in a box, not a building.  

Saw a good movie recently, "Ace In The Hole" with Kirk Douglas.  They made extensive use of a Model 100 TTY, even to showing Kirk hitting 4 N's at the end of one of his messages.
