Hey Jimmers;

Did that work?

I have a 28-KSR and 28-RO.

With the clutches locked-up and the machine idling, and turning the power off:

o 28-KSR - takes 11 seconds to spin down.

o 28-RO  - takes 3 seconds to spin down.

The 28-RO definitely makes more noise when idling.

I have oiled the motor but have not noticed a difference.

I have not tried removing the typing units from their bases and test
the spin-down time of the motors.

Both machines are near the end of the 2nd use of the roll of paper.
When the paper runs out I do their oiling and will see how long it
takes the motors to spin down without a load.
