The snipe system has been around for years now.  It can fire a bid in 6 
seconds before the close.  That's the only way to bid.  Set your limit, and 
forget it.

Few things in life are more stupid than the people bidding against each 
other days before an item closes and just running up the cost to themselves. 
I will go to my grave trying to understand such stupidity.  Now, shall I say 
how I really feel?

To coin a phrase, "Anyone who ever underestimated the stupidity of people, 
was never disappointed".  That starts with New Jersey drivers! ! !
