Seller wrote to me about this one. These were used on Teletype Test
Boards.
I tried to get a whole test position in Chicago but lost it to the
scrapper when the
Dearborn Test manager was transferred. Missed one in California
also... found
out a couple of days after the boards were removed in Los Angeles.
Regarding this typing unit, I tried to get the seller to donate this
unit to a
museum as it is probably the only one of it's kind but the hunger for
money is
high these days.
If any of you are in the Albuquerque, NM area the Telephone Museum there
has a Teletype TWX cord board posing as telephone switchboard.
Coulda, shoulda, woulda...
Sigh,

This is a Model 14 tape printer, never used, new in box.
It's just the printing mechanism in its shipping crate.
The printer is provided with a front crank for adjusting
the range finder, so it's in a test equipment configuration.
It also has a unusual governed motor with extra slip rings,
presumably for test purposes. Mint condition.
Seller wants $359 starting bid, buy now at $1500.
