Likely a machine used on AUTODIN or OPSCOMM circuits or possibly
a monitor in a Technical Control center, part of a communications center
network.

Sounds like the machine has been heavily TEMPESTED for fixed station
use.

Machines modified for TEMPEST were done as Depot Level maintenance,
and were not factory issue mods. If TEMPESTED, the machine probably
required the use of a TCU and ran with crypto gear, had it been installed
somewhere.

In any event, sounds like one worth saving.
