Well, we made it through the first week, still trying to adjust meds and
food and sleep habits.  Jerry is getting stronger every day, his legs are
still very weak, but he is standing at the kitchen sink for several minutes
every day (I told him we were getting him ready to start washing dishes!  I
got the "look"!  If you know Jerry you know what I mean.

He sits with his laptop more often now.  I'm hoping soon these updates will
come from him.

He keeps his cell phone with him most of the time now, his number is
661-204-6466 and our home number is 661-831-1494. Phone call is like the
visits were in the hospital, he really perks up.  If we don't answer, please
leave a message or call back, sometimes we get very busy!

Thanks to those of you who sent cards this week, Gary and Shirley, Joy, Paul
, we are going to paper a room with all of your good wishes.

To all of you who have offered help, please know how much we appreciate it.
As the recovery continues we may call on you but for now, our family here
all the time and I have caregivers around the clock for his needs.  If we
had grass, I'd ask you to come mow it, but we still have dirt, so you got
lucky!
