[GreenKeys] Model 28 ASR Keyboard Clutch

Are the engagement surfaces of the clutch shoes supposed to be serrated,
like the inner surface of the clutch drum, or smooth? There is an engagement
on the clutch shoe mounting plate, that when turned past the stop point will
fully disengage the clutch. Is this the position it should be in after a
normal character cycle?

                It seems that clutch is not fully disengaging after a
character cycle and a certain amount of friction still remains. Is this
normal?

 

Anybody else noticed this?
