Ed,
Yes, that is am L2000 (aka Mod 1) with a card punch on the left, and a
tape punch on the right. We had one like it at Chicago West branch, though no
card punch. My first training was on the L8000's and L9000's, (Mod 2's) so
of course most of my customers had TC-730's and 750's. In fact, I was
going through some boxes a while back and found my FE 1 & 2 cards, which were
used to put Mod 1's into maintenance mode. Even had the 4 pin front plane
jumper!

Hmmmmm... <memory address error: error 404: stack overflow> I don't
remember the model number, I didn't do much work on the punch & reader. That was
the purview of the systems FE's and I was BMG. But it looked like this:

Wasn't the 205 a disk drive?

We ended up with all Jack Aldridge's stuff ( service for Burroughs at
about the time of the electrodata changeover he was in Pasadena and phx
both) and any way there are a few reels I remember of the blue
mylar in his stash.... we own our Burroughs collection to his
hoarding....

In the "olden days" when I worked for Burroughs, we used to punch all of
our MTR tapes (and copies of some customer tapes) on the blue Mylar
reinforced paper tape, and I don't recall the Mylar tape causing a problem with our
punch. Is there that much of a difference between the punch on our L2000
and a teletype punch?
