Hi

I'm new in this group after posting some questions on the yahoo 
typwriter group. As a member of the dutch hackergroup hack42, situated 
in Arnhem, the Netherlands, i have taken upon me the task of fixing our 
two asr33's and siemens t37's only one machine is in working condition. 
The rest suffers from sticky grease. now one of our members has a 
partswasher working with petroleum and i was wondering if that could be 
something to use: take off all electrics and keycaps and submerge the 
mechanical parts into the washer, lubricating them afterwards.

is this a good approach?
