When I was working at TRW Systems Group in Redondo Beach,
I acquired one of the "goofy" golf balls for one of the IBM
Selectrics. So course, being the class clown that I am, I would
periodically swap balls on our secretary's Selectric. Of course
it would print gibberish. So I would offer to "have a look at it"
if she would be so kind as to cruise down to the cafeteria and
bring back a doughnut.

I must have done that 50 or 60 times.
I suspect she caught on, but enjoyed taking a break from typing.
