Hello meaghan;

I'm tony, and I'm in San Diego.

I noticed one of your e-mail addresses ends in "la",
so I'm guessing that you're up in the LA area.

Before you put it on eBay, check what the shipping costs
will be - probably pretty outrageous.

You can take the top (machine) off of the pedestal and
ship them separately.

I don't think the machine is worth much: guys want an
8-level (ASCII) machine that they can connect to an
old computer - like an IMSAI (sp?) - and have a retrograde
setup.

To make matters worse, if it runs at 66 Words Per Minute,
it's even more oddball because normal Teletype service is
usually 60 WPM.

If you can't unload it, let me know what you'll take for it,
and if it's worthwhile I'll come and get it.

We RTTYers don't like to see any Teletype machines wind up
in the dump - even if it isn't the most useful thing in
the world.
