[GreenKeys] Movie sighting

Just finished watching the movie "Hairspray", (1988, pre-Broadway) on
the Logo channel. There was what appeared to be a model 28 on the set
of a teen music show at a TV station, used to print out popularity
ratings of songs. A gal tears off the copy and hands it to the host of
the show who breathlessly reads it to the teens in the studio. I think
it was receive only, the shot didn't last more than a few seconds, I
didn't notice a keyboard. Does anyone know of actual shows using local
loop Teletypes as an active prop on the set reporting "up to the
minute" news to heighten anticipation in the show? In 1963 that would
have been way cool, especially for the teen techie geeks watching the show.
