GreenKeyers - - -

There was an incredible amount of interest in the HAL ST-8000 that
has been sitting on my shelf for who knows how many years, so I have
decided to part with as part of the W7TTY Sequester Program.

It is difficult to decide on just what it is worth, and who should
be the recipient. I really try to be fair to everyone

I will state that I have never hotted it up, and do not recall from
whom I got it. As such I can only say that as far as I know it was
functional when shipped to me.

I'm getting rid of a lot of my tty stuff now, as I want to know that
it all will get to a good home and not become paper weights or
Chinese engine blocks.

I consulted with Sir Jackson Hart, world renowned Ebay entrepreneur,
as to the worth of an ST-8000..

Jack mumbled some number, and because my ear trumpet has a wasps
nest in it I could not discern what he said, so I decided to guess
what he said, and ran it through my pocket Combo Beer-Cooler/ENIGMA
decoder thingy, and the results came out to be 150 dollars.

All parties interested in the ST-8000 are invited to send Mr. Jim
Haynes your personal selection of a three digit number between 100
and 999.

You may use all digits from 0 to 9. There are no redundant digits.
You MAY NOT use a digital multimeter to generate your number.

The individual whose number is closest to the HIGHLY CLASSIFIED
SECRET NUMBER I have sent to Mr. Haynes will have first dibs on the
ST-8000 at the Jack Hart price.

If the winner is dissatisfied with the Jack Hart suggested price, he
or she is invited to haggle with me, and convince me beyond the
shadow of a doubt that their suggested price is more realistic. (I
Loves to Haggle).

They may also tell me to pound sand.

Seriously, I have cleaned out several estates in the past months,
and I do not want my wife of 30 years to have to go through the
torment of having to deal with what the hell to do with my piles of
"STUFF", so this is my way of trying to make her life easier as
well as space in the garage for her car.

And just think - what better way to say I love you than with the
gift of leaving no artifacts to have to haul to the Goodwill
Donation Station or a yard sale to oversee!!.

And I think that seeing it go to appreciative people is the best fun
of all.

The Junque Run will start around 6 PM tomorrow, with stops in
Portland and Cottage Grove, Oregon, and on to Sacramento, San Jose,
and Bakersfield.

Final details tomorrow afternoon.

George - W7TTY
