GreenKeyers - - -

Shamefacedly I failed toinclude Paul Heller, the NEW W2TTY in my
trip tirade.

I met Paull in Grand Junction, about 0630 in the morning after first
enteringColorado about two hours before.

I was dead beat, and after digging out a couple of toys, passed out
in the passenger seat of the van.

I was so out of it that when Paulf found me with my DVD viewer
perched on my chest playing "SHARKNADO", he could not awaken me by
tapping on thw window or the car. I surfaced when my cell went of
and he was laughing as I fumbled to answer the phone.

After becoming mentally competent we chatted and loaded a model 28
KSR and a tall industrial relay rack into the back of his little
truck.

The necessities completed, we wandered into the "Golden Corral"
where a light but tasty breakfast was enjoyed.

Y'all are blessed by having a young, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed
software engineer taking over ITTY. He admittedly does not know
alout about the mechanics of the teletype hobby, but we all had to
start somewhere, and Paul's youth and enthusiasm reminds me of the
days surrounding the acquisition of my first model 26. He'll do
good!!

The dramatic changes in the weather will assuredly accelerate the
ITTY move, although two ASR's could easily be converted into a
two-horse bobsled (McGyver) and make the trip real easy. Snow?? just
pop the cover and you have a nice windshield!!.

Welcome to the Hornet's Nest, Paul, it was my pleasure meeting you.

George - W7TTY
