[GreenKeys] Adjusting the M28 keyboard drive/timing gear

I would first check the part numbers of the two gears that are supposed
to mesh.  It could be that you have a typing unit geared for 7.42 code
and a keyboard geared for 7.00 code, or vice-versa.  Altho I'm not sure
if that's how the code duration was changed.
